Albert Edward Squair passed away surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, March 28, 2015 at the age of 88, at the Viking Extendicare.

Albert was born on April 8, 1926 to Alexander and Margaret Squair on the farm near Kinsella AB. Albert made a public choice to serve God at Greenshields Convention in 1942 at the age of 16, and was baptized two years later at Lacombe Convention.

Albert left home to take his grade 12 in Holden AB, where he boarded for the year. After graduating, he worked in a coal
mine near Hinton AB.

Later he went to work in a wooden pipe factory in B.C. where his parents were living at that time. There he met Olive Hewitt. Albert and Olive were married in 1953 in Vancouver and moved back to Viking AB. in 1955 where they farmed north of Sedgwick until recent years.

Albert and Olive had the privilege of a Sunday morning worship service in their home for a number of years until May of 2014 when they were no longer able and moved to the Vialta Lodge in Viking.

Albert is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Olive, sister Jean Goodsman, sistersinlaw: Phyllis Squair, Audrey Squair and Marge Squair, five children: Bonnie (and Tom) Lawrence, Brian (and Kathy) Squair, Lois (and Woody) Kendrew, Carol (and Blaine) Goodkey and Alan (and Beth) Squair, 13 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren.

Albert was predeceased by his brothers Alex, Jim, Fred, Robert and Gordon.

A funeral service will be held at the Kinsella Community Centre, Kinsella, Alberta on Friday, April 3, 2015 at 1:00 PM. Interment will follow at Gods' Acre Cemetery, Kinsella, Alberta.
