Andrew Joseph Green

Andrew Joseph Green of Viking, Alberta passed away Thursday, March 10, 2022 at the Viking Health Centre, age of 86 years

Andy and his wife Kay made the best cakes with the best icing at Old Strathcona Farmers Market, Edmonton, Alberta.      Then they moved to Viking, Alberta from Edmonton to Vialta Lodge where he loved all the Staff and Neighbors.

Andrew is the husband of Kay, Father of Squirrel-Andy Green and partner Lucy Da Silva, Grandfather to Katrina, Eva, Jason and Shaun. Brother to Richard, Mike (Veronica) and Randy. He is also survived by: stepdaughter Patricia (Henry), step granddaughters: Shivonne (David), Lakeisha and Maizie, and stepgrandsons: Tremaine, Kaziah, Diamanti and Zephyr.

He was predeceased by sisters: Ethel, Pat, and Bev and brother Ron.

Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service will take place at a later date.

Prayer for Serenity

God, grant me the serenity
to accept the things I cannot change,
the courage to change the things I can,
and the wisdom to know the difference.
Living one day at a time,
enjoying one moment at a time;
accepting hardship as a pathway to peace;
taking, as Jesus did,
this sinful world as it is,
not as I would have it;
trusting that You will make all things right
if I surrender to Your will;
so that I may be reasonably happy in this life
and supremely happy with You forever in the next.
