Anne Margaret Ringrose (Hafso) 67 yr. passed away peacefully at Dogwood Care Home, Vancouver, BC on December 28, 2023 after a prolonged illness.  She is home with her Lord and Saviour now.

Anne was born on January 16, 1956 in North Battleford, SK to Roy and Alice Hafso (Kjos).

She was the second oldest of 11 children and loved telling stories of her experiences growing up on the prairies with them. Anne's two pillars throughout her life were her faith in the Lord Jesus Christ and the tremendous value of strong family relationships, ideals pursued with conviction throughout her life.  She graduated from the University of Alberta with her Bachelor of Nursing in 1980 and had a passion for helping and supporting young mothers. She had the greatest joy of her life with the birth and raising of her two children, Kirsten and Craig.

Anne was known for her big smile, positive attitude, and kind heart as well as her dedication to instilling those values in her children at home. She was a talented pianist and devoted much of her time to helping others.

She is survived by her children Kirsten Ringrose (Rob Green) and Craig Ringrose (Alana Olson) as well as her mother Alice Hafso and 9 siblings Ches (Ruth), Helen (Mark), Tim (Lisa), Kurt (Tammi), Mary-Alice (Tom), Rebecca (Larry), Anthony (Stephany), Rhoda (Dirk) and David (Laarni) and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her father Roy, sister Tavia and niece Raya.

A celebration of Anne's life will be held on January 13, 2024 at 2 pm at the Golden Valley Lutheran Church, Viking, Alberta. Internment to follow at the Golden Valley Lutheran Cemetery, Viking, Alberta.
