Arlene Gloria Jean was born December 3, 1941 in Pierceland, Saskatchewan. She was the eldest child of Norman and Ora Britton.

Arlene met Ed Majeski while he was working in Cold Lake, and they were married on October 1, 1960. They lived in a variety of places throughout Alberta until finally settling in Viking in 1978 with their 2 children Brad and Janeen.

Arlene worked and volunteered for many organizations over the years, and retired from working at the Viking Credit Union to help look after her grandchildren in 1993, which was her favourite pastime of all.

In her retirement years, Arlene and Ed enjoyed doing some travelling to many countries, but their favourite activity was attending their grandchildren’s events, whether it was hockey, barrel racing, 4H, or ball. They rarely missed anything the grandchildren were participating in, even if it was in another province or country. In later years, Arlene loved snuggling her 5 great grandchildren, which brought her so much joy.

Arlene was predeceased by her husband Ed, and is survived by her children Brad (Dawn), and Janeen (Gary) and grandchildren Tyrel (Kaitlyn), Braedon (Tyler), Bailey (Travis), Keaton (Savannah), Marshall (Jessica), as well as 5 great grandchildren Emerson, Paisley, Kallen, Carson and Scottie.
