We are saddened to announce the passing of Arthur Robert Tiedemann on October 31, 2021 in Tofield, Alberta at the age of 88 years, with his family by his side. Art is survived by his son Clayton, and his children, Andy (Cheryl) and Erica; great grandchildren: Brodie, Harvey and Reece; his daughter Cheryl (Larry), and their children; Kaelie, Cassie (Cory), and Delanie (Kris); great-grandchildren: Jordyn, Taylor, Aiden, Leland, Zac; his sisters Helen Tiedemann and Vera Heitman (John); sister-in-law Myrtle Tiedemann; as well as numerous nieces and nephews, family, and friends.

Art was the fourth child of Ed and May Tiedemann. He was born in Tofield, on the farm, on Thanksgiving Day, Oct 10, 1933. He married the love of his life, Norma, on May 12, 1956.  They had four children, Clayton, Colin, Cheryl, and Kevin.

Art was predeceased by his wife Norma; sons: Colin and Kevin; his parents: Ed and May Tiedemann; his brothers Bert (and wife Alberta), and Ralph; and his sister, Elsie Gray (and husband Bronk).

A private service will be held on Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 2:00 P.M.. A link to watch a livestream of the service can be found below.

Art will be buried at the Wainwright Cemetery, beside his wife Norma, and sons Colin and Kevin.

Donations in memory of Arthur may be made to the charity of one's choice.
