Betty was a loving, smart, funny and independent woman and will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Her loss will be felt most deeply by her family. Betty was predeceased by her parents William (Will) Mackerath Taylor and Edith Ellen (Nellie) Taylor and by husband Doug Rosene and brother William (Bill) Taylor.

Betty is survived by her children; Brian (Leanne), Nellie (Don), Carrie (Curtiss) and Ken (Shirley). Betty was a loving Gran to Kristin (Garret), Chentel (Wes), Craig (Meng), Julie (Ryan), Erika (Tim), Simon, Hope, Ethan and Nathan (Erin) and their families. Aunty Betty will also be remembered by numerous nieces and nephews.

Betty's work was in the area of business. Through the years she worked for Alberta Treasury Branch, Acklands, and The Pine Ridge Nursey. Betty was quick to make friends wherever she worked.

Always creating, Betty was a talented seamstress, a painter, and could knit the most beautiful sweaters for her family and friends. She loved gardening, birds, and all animals, especially dogs. Putzy, her dog, will miss visiting her at Extendicare.

A Funeral Service will be held at the Golden Valley Lutheran Church, Wednesday, February 20, at 1:00 P.M. with Pastor Alvin Sorenson officiating. Interment will follow at the Viking, Cemetery, Viking, Alberta.
