Christopher Laurence Nicholson passed away suddenly at Viking, Alberta, November 1, 2017 at the age of 49 years. He is survived by his loving wife Janna Ferguson, his step children: Miguel, Gabriel and Jericho and his daughters; Courtney and Tiffany He is also survived by his parents, Lela and Lawrence, father and mother in law; Harold and Angela. Also surviving Christopher are his brother, David and sister, Charlene.

A Memorial Service will be held at the Viking Community Hall, Viking, Alberta on Thursday, November 9, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. with Rev. Harold Ferguson officiating.

October 14, 2017 I married my best friend who showed me that true love really does exist. On November 1, 2017, 18 days later, he was tragically taken away from me in a car accident. Chris came into my life and my world immediately changed. He instantly became a father to my three boys and he adored them dearly. The love this man showed me was pure and deep. I don't understand the why's right now and I have to hold strong to my beliefs and know that God is in control and Chris is in Jesus loving care now. Your life can truly change in an instant. Hug, kiss, hold, adore your loved ones, that's what Chris did to me every moment he could. I love you so deeply Chris, forever and always, your wife Janna XOXOXO
