DAVID CHARLES LAING of Bruce, Alberta passed away June 24, 2020 at the age of 84.

David is survived by his wife of 42 years, Geniene, daughters Tara Laing, Aleah(Craig)Wohlgemuth and grand daughter Katy.

He lived most of his life on the Laing family farm a mile from Bruce, and was an active member of the Bruce Stampede Association.

Dave was a kind man with a gentle soul, good neighbor and a friend to everyone. He shared his passion and knowledge for horses, driving and riding, with many, partaking in many wagon trains, cattle drives and local parades. A loving husband, father and grandfather, he will be greatly missed.

Donations in memory of David may be made to Extendicare, Viking, Alberta; or the Bruce Stampede Association, Bruce, Alberta.

Graveside Service will be held at the Bruce Cemetery, Bruce, Alberta on Saturday, July 4 ^th , 2020 at 11:00 A.M.

This memorial will follow the government mandated AHS guidelines; and Viking Funeral Services, as a funeral provider, is committed to making this service as safe as possible.
