Delmer Stanley of Edmonton, Alberta, passed away March 29, 2022 at Edmonton, Alberta at the age of 89 years.

He leaves to mourn his children: Son, Randy Smith and Daughter, Sandra (Doug) Louttit; 3 Grandchildren: Morgan Smith, Kyle (Ali) Louttit, and Lindsey (Justin) Kologie 6 Great Grandchildren: Ben, Roselyn, Zachary, Hannah, Brooklynn and Owen.

He also leaves to mourn his passing, his sister-in-law Marie, nieces and nephews: Joseph Kosak, Mike Speers, Pat (Tanis) Speers, Raquel (Dwayne) Dixon, Shauna Speers (Ian Gale), Renee Harrison (Clifford Eckel), and great nieces and nephews: DJ, Dustin and Jaylynn Harrison, Jeffrey and Eva Speers, Sophie Speers –Gale.

He was predeceased by his wife Dorothy Mary Smith nee Speers, and brother-in-law James Speers.

A Memorial and Luncheon Gathering for the Celebration of Delmer's life will be held at the Al Shamal Shriners, 14511 – 142 Street, Edmonton, Alberta, Saturday, April 23, 2022 at 11:00 A.M.

Inurnment will be at the Viking Cemetery, Viking, Alberta on Sunday, April 24, 2022 at 12 noon for family and close friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations may be made to Heart and Stroke Foundation or STARS Air Ambulance.
