Donna Jean (Pugh) O'Neill

Donna was born to Vera and Fred Pugh on September 26, 1937, in Drumheller, Alberta.. Donna was raised and went to school in Dorothy, Alberta. She completed grade 12 and her Royal Conservatory in Music at Mount Royal College in 1955. After working in the Air Force for three years, she met Tom O'Neill, and they married in 1961. Donna loved raising her family and teaching piano. Tom passed away in 1988. At this time she completed her Culinary Certificate through NAIT. During a dance, Donna met Lloyd Revitt, and they got married in 1990. Together they opened a Nutters and coffee shop in Wainwright, raised sheep in Bezanson, and finally retired in Camrose. Lloyd passed away in 2007. Donna continued to be active in the Legion and met Ragnar Gislason. Ragnar has been an amazing companion to Donna, and they stayed active, volunteering at the Camrose Legion and visiting with family and friends. Donna's greatest pride was her family.

Donna is survived by her partner Ragnar, children Catherine (Rae), Kevin (Karen), Darrell (Tammy), Randy (Leah), Kathy (Dean), Maureen, and Sandra (Gord). Grandchildren Kandice (Aaron), Travis (Cole), Cassandra (Cody), Andrew (Stephanie), Tiffany (Evan), Brittney (Riley), Courtney (Jordan), Patrick, Thomas, Emily, and Dorian. And great-grandchildren Payton, Madison, Allie, Parker, Daphne, Milo, and Nathan.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, November 29, 2024 at 11:00 A.M, at the Holy Heart of Mary, Roman Catholic Church, Viking, Alberta with Father Robert Lee as the celebrant.  Committal will be at the Viking Cemetery, Viking, Alberta.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date at the Royal Canadian Legion Camrose, Alberta.

Donations will be given to the Camrose Women's Shelter.
