It is with great sorrow we announce the passing of Douglas Hogstead on September 19, 2021 at the University of Alberta Hospital.
Douglas is survived by his loving wife Cindy of 32 years. His sons Dylan and Dayne and Fiancé Cayla. His loving mother Norma. His siblings Sylvia (Donnie), Lorne (Lisa), Cliff (Alana), Sandra (Jim). Mother-in-law Connie Fornal, Sister-in-law Dianne Fornal and Brother-in-law Dean Fornal. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, extended family and great friends that he loved dearly.
Douglas was predeceased by his father Alfred, Father-in-law Louie Fornal and niece Cindy Safranka.
A private service will be held with immediate family and close friends due to COVID-19 restrictions.
In memory of Doug donations can be made to the University of Alberta Hospital or the Viking Health Foundation.
