BASARABOWICH, Edward October 27, 1939 – May 8, 2026

Edward Basarabowich, age 86, formerly of Andrew and Vegreville, Alberta passed away on Friday, May 8, 2026, in Viking, Alberta. He was born on October 27, 1939, in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Edward will be lovingly remembered by his children; Brian (Kathy), Bruce, Darren, Yvonne (Ray), Jackie (CJ); grandchildren: Jasmine, Brandon, Nicole, Alyssa, Abby, Chloe, Riley, Meghan, Melinda and Allena; great grandchildren; Sullivan, Sunday, Adianna, Cora, Lakin, Willow and Amara. Ed was an outgoing, fun-loving person who loved to dance. He will be dearly missed by many.

Ed is survived by 1 sister; Grace Stobbe. Ed was predeceased by his parents; William and Bella Basarabowich and 1 sister, Eleanor Lastiwka.

In keeping with Ed's wishes, cremation has taken place.
