Mr. Ervin Frederick Currie of Viking, Alberta passed away Tuesday, August 7, 2018 at the age of 84 years. Ervin played a major role in local fairs and rodeo's with his horses. Ervin had a very strong passion for people, animals and life.

He was predeceased by his wife Doris, his parents James (Jim) and Laurena , sister Hazel Davis (Currie), brothers James (Bud), Donald, Douglas and Robert.

He is survived by brother, Walter, numerous nieces and nephews, children and grandchildren.

A Celebration of Life for Ervin will be on Wednesday, August 15, 2018 at 11:00 A.M. at his farm, SW 23 49 12 W4 Beaver County with Rose Mae Kjelland as celebrant.

Inurnment will follow at the Lornedale Cemetery.

Lunch and fellowship will follow at the farm after inurnment.
