It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Frank Joseph Vitek.  Frank passed away peacefully at the age of 94 years in  Viking, Alberta, on August 22, 2025.

Our dear husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend will be greatly missed and forever remembered. Together with his loving wife of 65 years, Ellen (Skolney), they built a home filled with warmth, laughter, and love. He was a proud father to Jackie (Sean) Rainey, Elaine (Bob) More, and Garry (Diane) Vitek. He also cherished his six grandchildren Jesse (Lauren), Kirby, Brianne, Brendan (Rhiannon), Ryan, and Brett. Frank's gentle spirit will live on in the lives of many generations he helped shape.

A Memorial Service will be held Friday, August 29, 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Holy Heart of Mary, Roman Catholic Church in Viking, Alberta with Father Chad Miciak as the celebrant.
