Fredrick (Fred) Joseph Johnston passed away peacefully in Viking, Alberta Thursday, September 11, 2025 at the age of 91 years.

He is survived by his children Ken, Lorraine (Ernie), and Tammy.  Grandchildren: Jody, Gary, Daniel and Nicole.  Great Grandchildren:  Kaden, Andrew, Rachael, Nicholas, Ariya, and Phoenix, as well as brother Allan and sister-in-law Margaret.

He was predeceased by his wife Angella, his son Edward, his brother Bobby, his sister Margaret and his parents Joseph and Hazel.

A Funeral Service will be at the Viking United Church, Viking, Alberta on Friday, September 19, 2025 at 11;OO A.M.  Interment will be at the Viking Cemetery, Viking, Alberta.
