Helen Anne (Bercik) Ross of Viking, Alberta passed away at Extendicare, Viking, Alberta on Sunday, July 25, 2021 at the age of 84 years.

Helen was born in Viking to Jerry and Anna Bercik and spent her early life in the Viking area. She worked for several years at the Cash Store before she moved to Edmonton and worked with the Edmonton Separate School Board.  In December 1979 she married Chuck (Charles) Ross. After Chuck passed away she returned to Viking where she built a home. She spent many years enjoying her garden and flowers, baking and her family and friends.

Helen was predeceased by her husband Chuck, parents, brothers Charlie and Joe,  her sister and brother-in-law Hedy and Frank Ploc, and her niece Laura Bercik. She is survived by her brother Frank, sister Annie (Victor) Sumyk, nieces and nephews: Rick (Sara) Ploc, Maryann (Garry) Wolosinka, Theresa Suddaby, Linda Jackson, Jean (Gil) Dubois, Jerry (Dawn) Sumyk, Jenny (Jamie) Langner and numerous great nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Tuesday, August 3, 2021 at 10:30 A.M. at the Holy Heart of Mary, Roman Catholic Church, Viking, Alberta with Father Robert Lee as celebrant.    Committal will take at Prague Cemetery, Beaver County.
