Passed March 5, 2022, in Viking Alberta

James was preceded by his mother Joyce Cline Owens, father Edward Thompson, stepfather Ken Owens, brother Douglas Perry Thompson, and sister Tracy Owens Ebbers.

James is survived by his brother Darcy (Elizabeth Waite), sisters Leslie (Pierre Goulet), Angel (Greg Kubinec), Lori Owens (Andy Chartrand), Kim Owens (Burt Lavallee), as well as many nieces and nephews.

James was well known for his kind soul and loved by those who knew him. He was passionate about animals and had many of his own. He loved to help his friends and family however he could. His favorite pass time was to play cards/cribbage for hours, telling jokes the whole time, and enjoyed spending time at his friend Darrin's farm.

Rest easy now brother, you are now with the ones we all love and miss.
