Josephine Margaret Ewashko age 79 passed away Saturday Dec 8 ^th at the Viking Health Centre, Viking, Alberta . She is survived by her Husband Mike and her two son's Dana (Lorna), and Mark (Loriann), three granddaughters, Miranda, Chantelle, Reanne, and her sister Barbara (Dennis) Miciak as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Barbara, step father Lawrence Powell, brother Andy (Josephine) Kopas and infant sister Margaret.

Josie was born Jan 27 ^th 1939 in Saskatchewan to Joseph and Barbara Kopas. Joseph passed away when Josie was just a few years old. She moved to Alberta in 1949 when her mother Barbara married Lawrence Powell. Josie married Mike Ewashko in 1957 in Viking and farmed with Mike south of Innisfree AB.

Josie loved gardening, reading and horses. Oh and we can't forget coffee, She loved coffee.

Cremation has taken place and as per the family's wishes a private memorial will follow at a later date.
