Joyce Margaret MacArthur, born January 8, 1949, passed away in the Viking Hospital after a long battle with COPD on July 21, 2024 at the age of 75.

She is survived by her son Raymond MacArthur, who stayed with her and took care of her. She is also survived by her sisters Rhonda Thorne; Lois Stewart (Alan); her brother Dwight Ramsay (Brenda); niece Nicole Harrison (Kyle Pineau); nephew Shane Stewart (Vanessa); grandson Damien MacArthur; and numerous great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her husband David Macarthur; brothers Gary, Arthur, and Calvin Ramsay.

Joyce had owned her own businesses ranging from carpet cleaning to running billiards halls in various places. She worked in the Caledonia Hotel for five years. She was a loyal mother, and grandmother who was very dedicated to her family. She will be very sadly missed.
