Frances Joyce Naslund

With great sadness we announce the passing of Frances 'Joyce' Naslund on March 8, 2022 at the age of 88. Joyce will be deeply missed by her family Karen (Denis) Jefferson and their daughters Brie-Anne (Edmund) Robertson, Kate Jefferson (Amadeus Williamson), Betty (Stewart) Kelman and their daughters Rhonda Kelman, Shannon (Thomas) Stenson, Gwen (Chris) Klimosko, Robin (Tracy) Naslund and their children Cody Naslund (Kianna Firkus), Casie Naslund (Bailey Antos), and Darby Naslund. Joyce also had 5 Great Grandchildren, Laella Robertson, Mackenzie and Charlee Stenson, Hailey and Zoey Klimosko. She was predeceased by her husband Carl in 2014, an infant son Kenneth in 1958, her brother Bill Robinson and her parents George and Mildred Robinson.

Joyce was an active member of the Royal Purple, Viking United Church and most recently the Vialta Lodge Community. The family would like to thank the staff and residents of the Vialta Lodge along with the Homecare and Viking Hospital staff for their kindness and caring during her short illness.

A celebration of Joyce's life will be held on Tuesday March 15, 2022 at 2:00 P.M. at the Viking United Church with lunch to follow at the Viking Seniors Centre. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alta-Vi Memorial Society or the charity of your choice.
