Julie worked for Mrs Holter as a housekeeper and for Mary/Harry Logosh as a chamber/kitchen help.
Julie married Joseph Pyzik October 24, 1943. They bought a half section east of Bruce where they lived many years together on the farm. Their eldest son Elwyn is on the original farm.
The couple had six children, six grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Elwyn Pyzik, Wallie Pyzik (passed away at birth), Florence (Gene) Zawalek, grandchildren; Jason and (Andriya) Zawalek, Corten (Karen) Zawalek, Terry (Linda) Pyzik, grandchildren; Cody Pyzik and Dallas (Jeanne) Pyzik, Jeanette (Neil) Vaasjo, Eileen (Harry) Suchy, grandchildren ; Tyler Suchy and Krystle (Matt) Mayer and Great Grand Child Bryn.
After dads passing in July 21, 1996, mom remained on the farm with her eldest son Elwyn until she decided in December 2000 to move to the Golden Villa Senior Apartments in Vergreville, Alberta. This was a big step for mom but she adjusted well and in no time had made numerous friends. Mom continued to be self sufficient, cooking, cleaning and enjoying her town life. In October 2009 mom suffered a stroke. With moms strength and determination, in December 2009 mom was able to move to the Holden Lodge. Mom enjoyed three years at The Holden Lodge and again made many friends. In April 2013 mom became a resident at the Tofield Long Term Care. The staff took very good care of mom and made mom very happy there.
Mom was predeceased by her parents, Mike and Catherine, her husband Joseph, her son Wallie and all of her brother and sisters.
The Family has many happy memories of Julie.
