It is with great sadness the family announces the passing of Ken Koch. Ken passed away peacefully, with family at his side on Wednesday, May 31st at the age of 74. Ken is survived by his loving wife Dorothy, son Lyle (Nikki) Koch and daughter Carmen (Doug) Rudelich, 6 grandchildren, Raegan, Logan, Kennedy, Brooklynn, Nicholas, Luka, sister Angela Christenson, sister in laws Marlene, Freda (Victor), brother in law Harry (Eileen) and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ken is predeceased by his parents Frank Koch and Lillian Krohn, baby brother and brother Orval Koch.

Donations in memory of Ken can be made to the Viking Fire Department or Viking Health Foundation.

The family would like to thank all the doctors and staff at Viking Health Center and at the U of A Hospital for their compassion and care.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, June 8, 2023 at 1:00 P.M. at the Holy Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church, Viking, Alberta with Father Robert Lee as the celebrant. The family has requested a private committal following the service. They invite attendees to join them for lunch and fellowship at the Viking Community Hall.
