Kenneth was born on April 23, 1945 to Jessie Isabel Mills and John Lawson Mills. Ken was pre-deceased by both parents and his wife Beverley.
Ken lived in Granum Alberta until the age of 10. He moved to Edmonton with his family in 1955. He attended Bonnie Doon Composite High School then, after graduation, worked for the Edmonton journal and the Lethbridge Herald as a reporter. After returning to Edmonton, Ken graduated from NAIT in 1972 with a diploma in Biological Sciences and worked in research at the UofA and as a lab tech at NAIT. Ken studied at the University of Alberta Faculty of Extension and graduated with in a Certificate in Occupational Safety in 1981 and later received a certificate in Computers and Business Data Processing in 1991. In 1993, Ken obtained his qualification as a Novell Certified Network Engineer and started a business setting up computer and network systems for businesses. After he retired in 2012, Ken moved to Viking and sincerely enjoyed his time in Vialta Lodge.
Kenneth never gave up and cherished life along with his hobbies of photography and art.
Ken is survived by his brothers Donald Gordon (Edie) of Hemet California and John (Barb) of Viking Alberta.
A memorial will be held at a later date in Ken's home town.
