Linda Margaret Janet McDevitt passed away suddenly on May 22, 2021 in Edmonton, Alberta at 65 years of age. She is survived by her loving husband of 36 years, Garry, daughter Nicole (Jeremy), son Jeffery, granddaughters Julia and Erica, sister Carol, and nephews William and Tyler.
Linda was the eldest daughter of Emily and Bill Hill, born in Daysland, Alberta in 1955. She graduated from Daysland High School in 1973 and has had a variety of jobs including working for years in accounting at the Daysland Auction Mart, at the Viking Daycare and a bookkeeper at Garry's automotive shop. She enjoyed going to rodeos, going to car shows, camping, travelling, and drinking coffee. She had a lifelong love of Elvis, western movies, Danielle Steele novels and was a regular volunteer at the Viking-Holden food bank and a 35-year veteran of the Viking Volunteer Fire Department.
