Mary Helen Nietfeld was born to John and Mamie Kaminski at Bruno, Saskatchewan on June 5, 1917 and passed away at Viking Extendicare on January 13, 2018 at the age of 100 years and seven months.

She is survived by her eight children: Michael, Tod, Frieda, Richard, Alvina, Henry, Margorie, and Marie, by 15 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Mary was predeceased by her husband Henry, her son Joseph, her infant grand-daughter Mary Jane, her sisters Annie, Sally, Regina, Helen and Leona, and her brothers Francis, Stanley, Joseph, George and John.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at 1:00 P.M. at the Holy Heart of Mary, Roman Catholic Church, Viking, Alberta with Reverend Father Luan Vu as Celebrant. Committal will follow at the Viking Cemetery, Viking, Alberta. Please join the family for a time of refreshments and fellowship in the church basement after the service.
