It is with great sadness that the family of Mike Fornal announces his passing on December 2,2020 at the age of 91 years.

Mike will be lovingly remembered by his children, Geraldine (Doug), Shirley, Debbie, Sandra (Rob), Kevin (Sherry); grandchildren Rosanne (Dean), Trent (Kelsey), Logan, Hayley, Brenna and Alyssa; great grandchildren Hunter, Alexander, Easton, Taylen and Bryson. He was predeceased by his loving wife Rose in 2019 as well as numerous siblings and great grandchild Madison.

Mike was born in Torlea and lived in many other places in Alberta until settling down with Rose and kids on the farm, where he lived until his final days. He was a very caring, loving family man and loved nothing more than being together with his whole family for any occasion. He loved to share his stories from years past, often amazing everyone with his incredible memory of dates and details. Every year he took great joy in seeing the garden planted and couldn't wait to have new potatoes.

Our dad battled many health issues throughout his long life and although we will miss him greatly, we take comfort in knowing he's together again with the love of his life.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date.  Donations in memory of Mike may be made to the Bruce Cemetery Fund.
