It is with great sadness we announce that Robert John Maxwell passed away March 14, 2022 at the University of Alberta Hospital, Edmonton, Alberta

Robert, better known as Jackie, was born May 24, 1947 in Viking, Alberta to Jock and Flo Maxwell, youngest brother to Lorne and Sherrie.  Jackie completed all his education at the Viking School and after graduating grade 12 he attended NAIT where he completed a 2-year Civil Engineering Program.  During his lengthy career, Jackie was known to have worked on many of the major highways throughout Canada and the United States.

Jackie is survived by his older brother Lorne, niece Debbie Maxwell, and nephews Orin (Tricia) Maxwell, Ryan Maxwell, Kerry Busse, Steven (Wendy) Busse, Rick (Colleen) Busse and Darren Busse along with many extended family.  Jackie was predeceased by his parents Jock and Flo, sister Sherrie and bother-in-law Dennis Busse.

Private burial will take place at a later date.
