It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Rose Fornal (nee Marko) of Viking, Alberta on January 17, 2019.

Rose will be extremely missed by her husband of 61 years, Mike, and her children: Geraldine (Doug), Shirley, Debbie, Sandra (Rob), Kevin (Sherry). Grandchildren: Rosanne (Dean), Trent (Kelsey), Logan, Hayley, Brenna, Alyssa. Great Grandchildren: Hunter, Alexander, Easton, and Taylen.

She was predeceased by numerous brothers and sister, nieces, nephews and great grandchild Madison.

Rose was born in Viking Alberta on June 15, 1940 and lived in Kopernick, Alberta until she met and married her husband Mike on July 27, 1957. She loved gardening and being together with her whole family.

A celebration of her life will be held on Monday, January 21, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. at the Holy Heart of Mary Church, Catholic Church, Viking, Alberta with Reverend Father Luan Vu as celebrant.

Donations in memory of Rose can be made to the Holy Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church or the Bruce Cemetery or charity of one's choice.
