It is with saddened hearts the family of Ruth Makar (nee Davison) announces her passing September 4, 2021 at the Viking Health Centre at the age of 81.

Ruth is survived by her 3 children Ron (Shelly), Jule (Bob), Lynn (Barry); 4 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; as well as 2 sisters and 1 brother.

Ruth was predeceased by her husband Joesph; her father and mother; her father and mother in-law; and 1 brother.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Holy Heart of Mary Roman Catholic Church in Viking, Alberta on Thursday September 9, 2021 at 1:00 PM with Reverend Father Robert Lee as the celebrant.

A private family burial to follow.

Immediately following the service there will be a period to greet the family. There will be no lunch following the service.
